jetzt trennen sich die Paare, gehen voneinander weg und hinter den sides (heads) um zwei Tänzer = around two people (dancers, persons) herum until you're home

das 'voneinander wegdrehen' nennen wir separate.

Die Tänzer eines Paares drehen sich den Rücken zu und gehen außerhalb des Square um die Anzahl der zu ‘umgehenden’ Personen so weit vor, wie es die nächste Anweisung bestimmt; around one = um eine Person; around two = um zwei Personen. Sich dabei begegnende Tänzer gehen entsprechend der Grundregel rechtsschultrig aneinander vorbei.

a. ....to a line

Nachdem man um eine oder zwei Personen herumgegangen ist, schließt man mit diesen Tänzern zu einer line Formation auf (siehe Zeichnung).

b. ....come into (down) the middle

Nachdem man um eine oder zwei Personen herumgegangen ist, dreht oder tritt man wieder zur Squaremitte ein. Inaktive Tänzer öffnen und schließen dabei eine Lücke durch einen Seitschritt, falls zutreffend (hier).

head couples pass thru, separate around two people, meet your partner – swing, side couples pass thru, separate around two people, meet your partner – swing, join hands – circle left, allemande left......etc.

heads (sides) promenade half way come down the middle and pass thru separate around "one" (um 'einen' - keine lines) come down the middle pass thru (with your partner) allemande left......etc.

head couples pass thru, and courtesy turn with a "full turn", separate around two meet your partner and do sa do, side couples pass thru and courtesy turn with a "full turn", separate around two, meet your partner and do sa do

sides (heads) pass thru - U turn back, pass thru and separate around "one", come down the middle – do sa do partner, (or: turn your partner by the right), turn around and allemande left......etc.

call: heads right and left thru & half sashay, pass thru – separate around "one" to a line of four (unterbrechen zum erklären)

teach: line of four – wir nennen diese Formation so, weil wir zwei 'Linien' zu je vier Personen bilden. Dabei fassen sich alle Tänzer an den Händen.

continue call: everybody go forward and back, join hands and circle left, everybody face your partner – pass thru, swing (ex-partner) and promenade home

side ladies chain, heads pass thru – courtesy turn & half sashay, heads pass thru – separate around one, make a line of four – go forward and back, two ladies chain across (das erste Mal!), everybody join hands – circle left, allemande left........etc.

four ladies chain three quarters, heads (sides) only do a half sashay, and pass thru – separate around one, make a line of four – forward and back, everybody right and left thru, join hands – circle left, allemande left......etc.

head (side) couples pass thru – U turn back, side (head) couples promenade half way, come down the center and pass thru, separate around one to a line of four, all go forward and back, everybody pass thru and U turn back, join hands – circle left, allemande left (new corner), walk by your partner (vorbeigehen), promenade the next (= original partner)

head ladies chain, sides go forward and back, right and left thru & half sashay, pass thru – separate around one to a line of four – forward and back, everybody right and left thru, two ladies chain across, make lines – go forward and back, right and left thru again, join hands – circle left, allemande left.......etc.

heads (sides) pass thru, separate around one, come down the middle, right and left thru (in the center), pass thru – allemande left.....etc.

heads (sides) pass thru, separate around two, make a line of four (= sashayed) auch das ist eine line of four!, everybody go forward and back, everybody pass thru and U turn back, right and left thru and half sashay, all join hands – circle left, allemande left.....etc.

all four ladies chain go straight across the ring

rollaway and circle to the left around I sing

rollaway again and you circle to the left

allemande left the corner and weave around the ring
