Mit der zweiten Ausgangsformation (parallel lines of four facing out) von wheel and deal werden die sight calling Techniken komplettiert, wie sie im Teil "sight calling - leicht gemacht" erklärt wurden. Damit neigen sich die Lektionen dem Ende zu.

Die Flensburger Verkehrssünderkartei lässt grüßen: Anfangs wird die Vorfahrt oft missachtet. Achten Sie darauf, dass Rechts Vorfahrt hat, sonst stimmt danach die Reihenfolge nicht mehr. Wechseln Sie selbst oft die Reihenfolge, so dass sich die Tänzer an die wechselnden Richtungen und den daraus entstehenden Vorrang gewöhnen.

Lehren Sie diese Variation vorerst nur aus lines facing out. Natürlich kann man wheel and deal auch aus facing lines of four anwenden. Das ist aber immer ein kleiner Stolperstein und wegen Platzmangel schlecht zu tanzen. Callen Sie dies später in ihren workshops.

Ausgangsformation 2: line of four - limitiert auf facing out

Nur das links stehende Paar tritt einen Schritt vor. Jedes Paar dreht als eine Einheit in Richtung Mitte ihrer line of four eine halbe Umdrehung (180°), wobei der jeweils innere Tänzer eines Paares den Drehpunkt bildet. Das Paar auf der rechten Seite der geteilten Reihe dreht vor dem anderen Paar ein. Beide Paare blicken jetzt in die gleiche Richtung als Tandem.

Merke: Rechts hat Vorfahrt! Nach innen eindrehen!
