Grund:
Noch ist es besser, den Tänzern viel Platz zur Verfügung
zu stellen und sie sind noch nicht gewohnt, das in der
Mitte des Square zu
tanzen, noch dazu, wenn jemand hinter ihnen steht und
dabei zuschaut. Sie haben die Tänzer nun in zero lines. Natürlich haben Sie sich vorher Ihre key couples gemerkt! Nun können sie das Gelernte vielfach anwenden und Sie werden es leicht haben, Ihre key couples danach wieder zu zero lines zu bringen, auch wenn Sie die neue Figur square thru mit allen Zahlenvariationen hinzufügen. Sie können jetzt mit dem Gelernten ewig und drei Tage die Tänzer unentwegt tanzen lassen, ohne den Square schnell auflösen zu müssen, was Sie aber natürlich irgendwann einmal tun. Callen Sie so lange die bekannten Figuren, bis Sie Ihr primäres Paar zusammen haben. Danach ist entweder Ihr sekundäres Paar bereits automatisch in sequence, oder ein right and left thru wird dies bewirken. |

Sie aber
immer daran: Callen Sie keine two
ladies chain's für nur
zwei Damen in der Mitte = center
two ladies chain. Das würde eine conversion
bewirken und alles wieder zunichte machen!
Um
Ihnen das sight calling für
diese Drills aber noch leichter zu machen, merken Sie sich
folgendes (dabei werden nur die Standardpositionen für
Drillzwecke berücksichtigt):

Irgendwann
haben Sie den Square aufgelöst und wieder zur Grundstellung static
square gebracht. Jetzt sind die heads
oder sides auch bereit, mit der Figur square thru zu beginnen. Aber:
für Ihr bisher praktiziertes sight
calling wäre das fatal: Sie müssten danach in zero box auflösen und so weit sind Sie noch nicht (aber bald!).
Also wenden Sie wieder den alten Trick an: erst head (side) ladies chain und danach square thru four hands. Nun werden Sie später wieder in zero
lines auflösen können.
Wenn
Sie aber die head / side
couples für den square
thru zu Übungszwecken für den anschließenden singing
call unbedingt beieinander lassen wollen, dann üben Sie
