Die Quadratur des Kreises! Bei der Figur circulate wird dies wahr! Die Tänzer stehen zum Quadrat geordnet und doch auch auf einem Kreisbogen!

circulate ist eine der variationsreichsten Figuren überhaupt und kann gar nicht vollständig gelehrt werden. Wenn der Tänzer aber das Prinzip beherrscht und der Caller zusätzliche Hilfestellungen ansagt, "wo" der Tänzer hingehen soll, ist diese Figur kein Problem.

Da die Figur couples circulate bereits ab der Lektion 40 bekannt ist, stellt die hier vorgestellte Variation aus waves die Tänzer vor wenig Probleme. Die anderen Varianten folgen später.

Beginnen Sie aber vorerst noch in der bekannten two faced line Formation; lassen aber nur entweder boys only circulate oder girls only circulate tanzen. So bekommen die Tänzer schon das Gefühl, die Figur allein tanzen zu müssen. Wenn Sie dann dies in ocean waves anwenden, haben die Tänzer keine Orientierungsschwierigkeiten mehr.

Weisen Sie auch darauf hin, die Figur nicht mit trade zu verwechseln.

Ausgangsformation: hier limitiert auf waves
Grundregel: Die angesprochenen (boys, girls, centers, ends, all eight) und darauf aktiven Tänzer gehen auf einem Kreisbogen, der mit anderen Mittänzern gebildet wird, vorwärts um eine Position weiter. Jeder aktive Tänzer nimmt danach die exakte Position und Blickrichtung des sich vor ihm befindenden Tänzers in der Kreisformation ein. Variation: double circulate = doppelt.
