touch a quarter = touch right / left hands and swing one quarter. Ist das Rechts und Links Problem erst gelöst und sind die Diskussionen abgewürgt, stellt die Figur keine weiteren Probleme dar, außer dass man vorher keine Handverbindung haben darf und vor der Ausführung aufeinander zutreten muss, dann die wave Handverbindung eingeht und anschließend dreht. Würde man in einer bestehenden wave Handhaltung die Figur ausführen, wäre das ein single hinge. Natürlich ist die Variante dazu ein left touch a quarter. Callen Sie nicht touch a quarter left - die Tänzer sind mit touch a quarter schon fertig, bevor Sie "left" sagen! Ein touch a half oder touch three quarters ist im Mainstream Programm nicht vorgesehen. |

Wenn Sie aus einer line of four facing in Formation touch a quarter callen, erhalten Sie eine column (= Säule) Formation, wie hier dargestellt. Im Prinzip würde es genügen, wenn man aus der column Formation statt single file circulate nur circulate callt. Besser ist aber, single file anzusagen, weil man auch split circulate oder box circulate anwenden könnte (nächste Lektion). So vermeidet man jegliche Zweifel an der Ausführung. |
